It takes our bodies on average 1 year to physically heal from a birth, 2 years for our hormones to return to "normal", and about 5 years for a mom to feel a sense of identity again. Trying to balance and adjust to being a mom, partner, family member, friend, and professional can feel like an impossible feat at times. Healing Pineapple Therapy, PLLC is to here to help you redefine yourself, set limits and boundaries, and build on communicating your needs/wants to those around you. Motherhood at times can feel very isolating and overwhelming, even if you have your "village". Attending therapy gives you the space to truly be yourself and share openly and honestly how you're feeling in a safe and non-judgmental space.

Postpartum Care Planning

We spend so much time planning our pregnancy and birth, we can overlook that there is a whole 4th trimester awaiting us at home. By using techniques from the Gottman Method, "Brining Home Baby",  Healing Pineapple Therapy, PLLC can work with you and/or your partner to plan for the life and role adjustments that occur once you bring baby home.

Healing Pineapple Therapy, PLLC is trained in Infant and Child Mental Health and up to date parenting techniques (specifically birth-8 years old). Being strongly attached and bonded to your child can improve both mom and child's mental health. There is so much advice out there on social media, online courses, and self help books it can be overwhelming to sort through it all. We often feel like we have to be "super mom", but achieving all the social and personal expectations of motherhood can often make us feel like we are falling short. By connecting with us, we can help you create a personalized parenting style that makes sense for you and your family. We will help you set realistic expectations that work within your personality, mental health, and family structure.

Healing Pineapple Therapy, PLLC can help you explore ways to make more space for yourself, gain clarity on how to self sooth and care for yourself, and give you time for yourself in your week. Putting your mental health needs first will make you a healthier and happier person, in turn a happier and healthier partner, mom, friend, family member, and co-worker. Therapy allows you to openly share your thoughts, feelings, and experiences and gain the skills needed to help you feel more in control over life's chaos.
